Good-bye old friend. I just sold my one and only copy of the Yoga Aphorisms of Patanjaji on the internet. I got only 99 cents for it, which was fine by me; it was time to pass the information on, hopefully to help another understand better that holy books are of value even to atheists if one reads them with an open mind and doesn't take them too seriously. Mine was the Prabhavananda-Isherwood translation called, "How to Know God." I've had the paperback copy since my Vedanta days. I still like many passages, such as one from a Taoist saying:

"Heaven arms with compassion those whom it would not see destroyed."

On second thought, maybe I should keep the book and cancel the sale.
